Sometimes I really wish things could be the way they were in the early 90s when I was born….no cell phones….no internet. no social media…..I feel like friends were more genuin back then……and I feel like things were just better. people were smarter because in order to do well in school you actually…

See, this is why I won’t be getting a smartphone any time soon. It makes all of those things that makes friendship superficial much more accessible. I’ve been feeling this way for a long time about a lot of my friendships and it’s been bumming me out a lot. I’m definitely going to get back into the habit of calling people to hang out, though- texting can get real messy as far as plans go (like, not getting them until the next day, not feeling your phone go off and seeing it an hour later when that could’ve been time spent hanging out, etc.). It just sucks because I feel like society’s gotten to the point where you CAN’T just simply get out of social media and kick it old school, because everyone else is still using it. Welp, I’m gonna try as hard as I can to get back to the way things were, for me at least. It just sucks because Tumblr’s so great and informative that I’m not sure if I’d be benefiting from leaving. Then again, I don’t really see Tumblr as a form of social media, to be honest. It’s not as personal as Facebook, and though you CAN talk to friends and make friends, it has a lot more uses than just that.

Lets all keep in mind Normal Islamic Extremists don’t surrender, hence why his brother had a suicide vest on, and he didn’t. He was probably scared shitless, thats why when his brother dropped he ran over him to get away. Personally, I think the brother forced him to do all of this. His brother had no American friends, had fav’d Jihad videos on his Youtube, left the country for 6 months to get training, and had a suicide vest strapped to him. Dzhokhar lived on campus, had no black mark on his record, and all the bombs were built in Cambridge at his brother’s old house.  With all the information we know now, the only reasonable statement is that Tamerlan forced Dzhokhar to take part somehow.
